It's nice to meet you.
I started this blog to share my overseas adventures as a I travelled Europe during my semester aboard. However it didn't always work like that, I was too busy having fun!
So here you'll find a collection of travel, art, photography, projects, and recommendations.
I am a third year Business and Commerce student at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Majoring in economics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and love nothing more than hanging out at the pub discussing economic theories and business proposals with members of various student societies.
I make it through semester (aka stay sane) with the help of coffee, spin class, violin, composition, drawing and planning murder mysteries.
You may be wondering 'why Ariadne Adventures?' and that's fair enough! The name has personal meaning to me. I was searching and contemplating a blog title for half of 2016, when my Granny became terminally ill and she was the one who suggested Ariadne. I couldn't do it any other way after that. I love to see how I have grow as a person since then and think how proud she would be (even though she would have never said it!).
In 2017, I spent 5 months away from my home (Australia) studying in Dundee, Scotland. There, I discovered my love for travel and photography.
While away, I visited Singapore, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany. But however amazing beautiful places I visited, it was Scotland that stole my heart.
